Gardaí at Tallaght investigating the fatal shooting of Andy Connors on the 19th August 2014 have this morning (24/5/16) arrested a 34 year old man in connection with this investigation.
The man was arrested in west Dublin.
He is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act 1939.
Investigations are continuing.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred shortly after 11pm on Tuesday 19th August 2014 in Saggart Co Dublin.
Gardaí received a call reporting a shooting incident at Boherboy shortly after 11pm last evening 19th August 2014. Garda units responding discovered a man in his 40s who had been shot a number of times in the upper body. The man was removed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before midnight. A post mortem will be carried out on the body.
The scene at Boherboy, Saggart has been sealed off for a forensic examination which will take place this morning and a Garda investigation is underway.
