Fatal Assault Harolds Cross 5th March, 2016

The man, late 50s, that was injured in the serious assault that occurred on Harolds Cross Road in Dublin at 4 a.m. on the 5th March, has passed away this morning, Sunday 6th March, 2016.

A man, early 40s, was arrested this morning in relation to this fatal assault and is currently detained under Section 4, CJA at Terenure Garda Station.

Gardaí wish to reiterate that they are appealing for witnesses who were in the area between Harold’s Cross Bridge and Terenure between 3.30a.m. and 4 a.m. to contact them at the incident room in Terenure Garda Station on 01 6666473/74, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
