Cannabis Herb seized - One man arrested in Galway on the 29/3/16

As part of an intelligence lead joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda’s Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Galway Drugs Unit, a house in the Galway area was searched yesterday 29th March 2016.

Approximately 800 grams of herbal cannabis valued at approximately €12000 was seized by Customs. A 43year old man  was arrested by Gardaí under S.15 of the Misuse of Drugs Acts (as amended) and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Mill St Garda Station, Galway.


Investigations are continuing. No further details available.
