Gardaí in Cork are appealing for information following a commercial fire at a Restaurant in Cork City on the 8th June 2016.
At approximately 05:30hrs Gardaí and Fire Services attended the scene of a fire at N Square Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant on Camden Quay. Six teams from Cork City Fire Brigade tackled the fire which had engulfed the restaurant. Approximately 100 people were evacuated safely from overhead and neighbouring apartments. The fire was brought under control and no one injured during the incident.
Results of a detailed forensic and technical examination have been furnished to investigating Gardaí confirming the fire started in suspicious circumstances.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Camden St. or Pine St. during the early hours of Wednesday 8th June to contact them. They are particularly appealing for footage or images recorded at the scene on mobile phones or other devices.
