Gardaí in Killarney Co Kerry are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred outside the village of Sneem, Co Kerry on the 28th June 2016.
The collision occurred at approximately 6.45pm on the Cahirciveen to Sneem Road (approx. 3 miles outside Sneem). A motorcyclist travelling along the road came off the motorcycle and collided with a ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His remains have been removed to Tralee Hospital where a post mortem is expected to take place tomorrow the 29th June 2016. No one else was injured in the collision.
The road was closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination but has since reopened.
