Gardaí at Mayfield in Cork are appealing for witnesses following a two car fatal traffic collision today Sunday the 19th June 2016.
At approximately 4pm today a female in her 60’s was seriously injured when the car she was passenger in was involved in a two car collision. The collision occurred at Skew Bridge, Tivoli, Cork. She was taken by Ambulance to Cork University Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Four other persons were injured and also taken to Hospital where their injuries are described as non life threatening.
The scene is preserved for a forensic and technical examination and local diversions are in place. The Coroner has been notified.
