Gardai in Mallow are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured on the N20 in the townland of Ballygrogan, Rathduff, Cork in the early hours of this morning Monday, 6th June 2016.
A two vehicle collided occurred and a male (mid 30s) driver was fatally injured. His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will take place. The female driver (early 40s) of the second vehicle and the two male passengers were all taken to Cork University Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
A technical and forensic examination of the scene is taking place by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road is currently closed with local diversions in place.
