Gardai in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary are investigating a two car fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Fortmoy Cross, Borrisokane, at approximately 5.15p.m. yesterday afternoon, Sunday 5th June, 2016.
A male driver, sole occupant, (early 70s) was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with another car. The second driver, sole occupant, female (mid 60s) was removed to Limerick University
Hospital with serious injuries.
The road is currently closed pending the completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
