Court Appearance re Section 30 Arrest 17th June, 2016

A man, early 50s, is due to appear before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, Friday 17th June, 2016 at 3.45p.m.


The man was arrested yesterday morning Thursday 16th June, 2016 in the Store Street area of Dublin as part of an ongoing operation targeting dissident republican activity. He was detained at Irishtown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended.
