Gardai in Kilcock are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R407 (Clane to Kilcock Rd) near Baltracey at approximately 11.30pm last night.
A male in his 20’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving and the sole occupant was involved in a collision with a truck. The male was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Naas Hospital. The driver of the truck was taken to Blanchardstown Hospital with what are described as minor injuries.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
