Gardaí in Kildare are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the M9 between junction 1 and junction 2 southbound at approximately 8.30pm last night, Saturday July 9th 2016.
A female motorcyclist in her 40’s collided with the central divide on the motorway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other person was injured in the collision.
The road is closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination.
