Gardaí in Store Street are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man who collapsed on Guild Street, Dublin 1 on the evening of Thursday 4th February 2016 and wish for to appeal for witnesses.
At approximately 5.40pm a man in his early 40’s collapsed outside a building on Guild Street, Dublin 1 on to the roadway and was helped back onto the footpath, where passersby assisted him and rendered First Aid & CPR.
The man was brought to the Mater Hospital but passed away later. A post mortem is due to be conducted.
There were a number of people on the street at the time and Gardaí are seeking their assistance in relation to this incident.
