A man in his 20's is expected to appear before a sitting of Naas District Court charged in connection with two recent robbery incidents in Co. Kildare.
The man was arrested yesterday (17/2/2016) as part of Operation Thor and detained at Naas Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
On the 13th of February at approximately 7.30pm a female motorist was threatened at knife point by a lone male in the Coill Dubh area. A small amount of cash was taken during the incident. The man fled the scene on foot.
On the 14th of February at approximately 6.30pm a man armed with a crowbar entered a shop on Main Street, Prosperous before making off with a small amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
