Gardaí in Tramore are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision in Co Waterford.
At approximately 9.30pm on the 8th December 2016 a 25-year-old woman was seriously injured when the car she was driving struck a wall. She was the sole occupant of the car. The incident occurred at a location known as Five Cross Roads near the village of Stradbally, Co. Waterford. She was treated at the scene by emergency services and removed to University Hospital Waterford where she was pronounced dead today (9/12/2016).
The scene of the collision was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since reopened to traffic. The local Coroner has been notified.
