Gardaí at Mallow are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N20 Cork to Limerick Road in the townland of Baltydaniel (one mile outside Mallow) this afternoon, Tuesday 5th April 2016 at approximately 5.10pm.
The two car collision occurred at the above location resulting in the deaths of a male driver in his 70’s and his female passenger in her 70’s. The female driver(only occupant) of the second car was injured.(injuries non life threatening)
The N20 Cork to Limerick Road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local Diversions are in place.
