As part of an ongoing operation into money laundering Gardai attached Divisional Fraud Investigation Unit at Anglesea St in Cork city, assisted by Divisional Drug Unit and CAB, have arrested seven people this morning 17th Sept 2015.
The individuals (2 men and 5 women) are aged between 20yrs and 51yrs were all arrested in Cork city.
They have been charged and are due to appear at Cork District Court No 6, Washington Street at 10.30am today.

As part of an ongoing operation by the Divisional drug unit in Anglesea St and local drug unit in Gurranabraher based in Cork into distribution of controlled substances(Drugs) and money laundering a private residence at Kerryhall Rd, Fairhill, Cork City was searched to day the 4th March.
The house was searched around midday today, during the course of the search Gardai discovered and seized €36,000 in cash. There were no arrests and investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí have arrested a woman and seized cash and drugs as part of an operation in Cork city 27th February 2014.
The search operation was carried out at a house on St. Colemans Road, Farranree, Cork City last evening. A small quantity of drugs and large amount of cash, as well as other documentary evidence, was seized by Gardaí.
A woman in her 30s was arrested and is detained under the provisions of Sec 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Gurranabraher Garda Station.
