Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred at the junction of Suir Road and Davitt Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12 on Friday 23rd October 2015 at approximately 10.20pm. A car collided with a Luas tram which was traveling on the 'Red Line'.
Gardaí and Emergency Services attended the scene. A total of twelve people, ten males and two females, aged from late teens to mid 30', required medical assistance and were taken to Saint James' and Tallaght Hospitals with non serious injuries.
The road junction was closed for a short period of time and has since reopened.
