Gardaí continue to liaise closely with the families and the following notification is issued on their behalf.
The following are the arrangements for the funerals of Willie Lynch and Tara Gilbert and their children Jody and Kelsey and James Lynch (brother of Willie Lynch).
At 11.20am the cortege (five hearse and 10 limousines) will depart Murphy’s Funereal Home, Boghall Road, Bray. (Media requested not to attend the immediate vicinity of the funeral home)
Route: Travelling on Boghall Road to Killarney Road to Main Street, turning left onto Herbert Road and entering the church car park at the rear of the Holy Redeemer Church.
(It is requested by the families that the church interior and church grounds are private in relation to the presence of media)
Following the mass the cortege will travel via Herbert Road, Castle Street, Upper Dargle Road, into Fassaroe Estate, back onto Dargle Road via Blind Lane, back onto the N11 exiting at Bray South and turning onto Killarney Road to Springfield Cemetery.
(The family have requested privacy at the cemetery)
Parking at the cemetery will be reserved for the cortege only.
Both the car parks at Herbert Road and Florence road will be closed to traffic and reserved for those attending the funeral.
There will be an area at the Florence Road / Main Street junction reserved for the media. An area will also be reserved for satellite vans in the council car park at the rear of the church. The entrance to the car park is at Herbert Road. Media wishing to park satellite vans are asked to attend as early as possible and to follow the instructions of Gardaí on duty.
