Tunnel open - Traffic Collision in Dublin Port Tunnel on the 20/11/15

Both bores are now open in the Dublin Port Tunnel and the 5 axle ban on the city centre is back in force.

The 5 axle ban for Dublin City has been lifted due to the Port Tunnel collision.

The north and south bore of the Dublin Port Tunnel are currently closed due to a road traffic collision. They are expected to be closed for up to two hours.

It is believed a truck has overturned in the north bore.

Emergency services are using the south bore of the tunnel to gain access to north bore.
