Gardai in Killarney are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist on the N22 at Scart, Farranfore at approximately 11.15am this morning.
A male cyclist in his 30’s was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Kerry General Hospital. The driver and passenger of the car were not injured.
The road was closed for a time to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
