Gardai in Castleblaney are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred in Castleblaney on the 20th Nov 2015.
The collision between a lorry and a pedestrian occurred at approximately 2am at Drumquill, on the Castleblaney to Annyalla Road. (Old N2). The male (24years) was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene, his body remains at the scene, the lorry driver was uninjured in the collision.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
