Gardai in Kevin St are investigating a fatal fire at a house on St Malpas Place, Clanbrassil St on the 17th May 2015.
Gardai in Kevin St were alerted of the fire at a house on St Malpas Place shortly after 7am. Emergency services attended the scene and a female 70 years was taken from the house and brought to St James Hospital where she was later pronounced dead. There was no one else in the house at the time of the fire.
The house has been preserved for a technical examination
