Gardaí at Trim Co Meath are investigating reports of shots being fired at a location at Readstown, Summerhill, Co Meath on Friday 20th March 2015.
An operation was undertaken by Trim Gardaí assisted by local Detectives and the Garda Regional Support Unit yesterday afternoon (Saturday 21/3/15).
During the course of the search of a house at Readstown, Sunmmerhill a firearm (Pistol) and ammunition were recovered along with other items.
Two men (19yrs & 31yrs) were arrested in connection with this incident and are both detained at Trim Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act 1939.
Investigations are continuing.
