Gardai in Bagenalstown are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred near Paulstown at approximately 4pm this evening.
A male in his 60’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving, and the sole occupant, collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Waterford Hospital.
This stretch of road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened.
