Gardaí in Glanmire are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision in which a man in his early 80's was fatally injured.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:30pm on Monday 23rd March 2015 at Ballinagoul, Knockraha, Co. Cork.
The injured man, the driver and sole occupant of the car, was declared dead at the scene and his body has been transferred to Cork University Hospital for Post Mortem. The road remains closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation and local diversions are in place.
