Three men, two in their 20s and one in his 40s, are due before Dublin Court No 1 at 10.30am this morning, 16th March charged in relation to an incident in Artane in Dublin on Friday last.
Four other men have been relaesed without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
As part of an intelligence led operation carried out by the newly amalagated Organised Crime Unit and Garda National Drug Unit, Gardai stopped a van on Rosemount Avenue, Artane, on Friday 13th March, 2015 at approximately 1.15p.m.
Three men were arrested at the scene. Another 3 men were arrested in a car close by and a short distance away a seventh man was arrested. Their ages range from early 20s to mid 50s.
All men were detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act, 1939 at Coolock, Ballymun, Clontarf and Raheny Garda Stations.
