A 25 year old man has died in hospital following an alleged assault at a house in Palmerstown, Dublin, in the early hours of this morning 9th June 2015.
Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that occured at Kennelsfort Road, Palmerstown at approximately 3.45 a.m. this morning Tuesday 9th June, 2015.
Two men were taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
A man (mid 30s) was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident or anyone who was on Kennelsfort Road between 3.30 and 4.00am to contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 666 7200.

Two men (mid 20s) were removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital and it is believed one man is in a serious condition.
A man (mid 30s) was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The scene is currently preserved and local traffic diversions are in place.
