Gardaí have recovered a firearm, seized drugs and arrested three males as part of an operation in west Dublin on the 8th June 2015.
At approximately 1850hrs members of the Ronanstown Drugs Unit stopped and searched a car at Greenfort Avenue, Clondalkin. During the search they recovered a shot gun (subject to ballistic examination) and seized a quantity of cocaine (pending analysis). The occupants of the car, three males aged in their 20s, were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained at Ronanstown and Clondalkin Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939.
