Gardai in Bray are investigating a single fatal road traffic collision that occured at Kilmullen Lane, Newtownmountkennedy, this morning, Monday the 22nd June, 2015 before 7.50a.m.
Gardai were alerted at approximately 7.50am by ambulance control that a car had collided with a ditch and that a male(58 years) was seriously injured. There was no one else in the car at the time of the collision. He was treated at scene,however he died and was pronounced dead by a local doctor. His body was removed to the morgue at Loughlinstown Hospital. A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow morning the 23rd June 2015.
The road was closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision Examination, but has since reopened.
