Gardaí in Ballinasloe are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Cloonkeenkerrill, Colemanstown, Ballinasloe, Co Galway at approximately 10.37pm last night (Tuesday June 2nd 2015).
A 31 year male (single occupant) was fatally injured when his car collided with a tree. His body has been removed to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe for Post Mortem Examination.
The road is closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation of the area and is expected to remain closed for a number of hours. Diversions are in place in the area.
