Gardaí at Pearse Street are appealing for information in relation to a robbery which occurred near the junction of Merrion Street Lower / Fenian Street, Dublin on Thursday morning 2nd July 2015 at approximately 2.30am.
A man was assaulted at the above location by three males in their late teens (One of the males having what is described as Asian ethnicity) The man was struck from behind and knocked to the ground. Property was taken from him which has since been recovered. He suffered minor injuries.
The injured man followed the three males who then got into a taxi (Silver Ford Mondeo) on Merrion Street Lower which then drove in the direction of Baggot Street.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for this taxi driver to contact them or for any person who has information to contact the incident room at Pearse Street Garda Station on 01 666 9000, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
