Gardaí at Mountjoy are investigating an assault which occurred on Thursday 15th January 2015 between the hours of 1am and 4am.
A man, 24 years, was walking in the Dorset Street Lower/Summerhill area, Dublin 1 when he was approached and assaulted by two other men both believed to speak with what are described as Eastern European accents. The man was further assaulted by the same two men on North Circular Road.
The injured man was taken to the Mater Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
