Gardaí in Galway are investigating a single vehicle fatal traffic collision which occurred on the 13th January 2015.
At approximately 22.00hrs Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision at Liosban Industrial Estate in Galway. A 60-year-old male was injured when the 4x4 vehicle he was driving struck a wall. He was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to University College Hospital Galway where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination and local diversions are in place. The local Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will carried out later today.
