Gardaí in Coolock are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred on the Malahide Road at the junction with Greencastle Road at approximately 6.45p.m. this evening, Wednesday 4th February, 2015.
A 45 year old woman who was cycling on her bicycle on the inbound lane of the Malahide Road was struck by a silver opel astra at the junction. Emergency services were contacted and the woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital where her injuries are described as critical. The male driver (early 60's) of the car was uninjured.
