Gardaí in Douglas are investigating a serious assault which occurred on Sunday morning 22nd February, 2015 between the hours of 1.30a.m. and 1.50a.m.
A man, 23 years, was assaulted in the laneway between the areas of Grange Road and Grange Heights in Douglas. The injured man was taken to the Cork University Hospital with serious injuries and remains there at present.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the vicinity of Grange Road between the hours of 1.30a.m. and 2a.m. on Sunday morning, or anyone with information to contact them at Togher Garda Station on 021 4947120, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
