Gardaí are investigating a robbery which occurred at a bookmakers shop on Sundrive Road, Dublin 12 on Friday 13th February 2015 at approximately 8.40pm.
Two males, one believed to be armed with a shotgun, entered the premises. They gained access to the area behind the counter, threatened and assaulted staff before fleeing the scene with an amount of cash.
The first male was wearing a red coloured hoodie top, grey tracksuit bottoms, black gloves and was carrying a green plastic shopping bag. The second male is described as being of heavy build wearing a grey coloured Adidas hoodie top. This man was wearing a balaclava.
The scene was preserved and technically examined.
