Gardaí at Pearse Street are seeking the assistance of the public with their investigation into a serious assault which occurred at Bedford Lane, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, close to Aston Quay, on Saturday 5th December 2015 at approximately 3.40am.
Gardaí received reports that a woman was assaulted by a man. It is believed that the woman was knocked to the ground during the incident before members of the public came to her assistance.
There were a number of witnesses to this incident and a number of people have been interviewed in connection with this investigation.
The injured woman left the scene prior to the arrival of Gardaí.
