As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí arrested four persons, three men and one woman aged between 19 and 27 years, yesterday morning Tuesday 1st December, 2015 in connection with theft of mobile phones from mobile phone stores nationwide.
A number of searches were carried out in Tallaght, Clondalkin and Portarlington, Co. Laois and a number of suspected stolen mobile phones were recovered.
They were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, at Lucan and Leixlip Garda Stations. All four were charged as part of the investigation and appeared before a sitting of Dublin District Court (Criminal Courts of Justice Number 4) this morning, Wednesday 2nd December, 2015.
