Gardai in Sligo are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 79 yr old Jimmy Scanlon who is missing from his home in Magherboy, Sligo.
Jimmy was last seen on Tuesday morning the 8th December at around 7am on Jinx’s Avenue, Sligo Town. He is described as being 5’5" in height with white hair and a white beard. He has blue eyes, wears glasses and walks with difficulty.
He was wearing a green jacket, a blue cardigan, a blue woollen hat and black shoes, carrying a green plastic bag.
Family and friends are concerned for Jimmy’s welfare and ask that anyone with information contact Sligo Garda Station on 071 9157000 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
