Gardaí in Cavan are investigating a three vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Kilcogy Co Cavan at approximately 7.30am this morning 26/12/15.
A 18 year old male (only occupant) was fatally injured when the car he was driving was in collision with a truck and another car. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital. No other persons were injured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
