Gardaí in New Ross are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Camblin, New Ross, Co Wexford at approximately 4.50pm this afternoon 26/12/15.
A 20 year old female (only occupant) was fatally injured when the car she was driving struck a wall. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford. No other persons were injured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
