Gardaí in Kevin Street are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of the body of Mr. John Stewart, 54 years, in an apartment near Clanbrassil Street, Dublin 8 on the evening of Thursday 3rd December 2015.
The scene was preserved and technically examined. A post mortem was carried out at Dublin City Morgue, Marino on Friday 4th December.
Gardaí are anxious to trace John Stewart’s movements between Tuesday 1st December and Wednesday 2nd December 2015. It is believed that John may have spent some time in Dublin City Centre during this period. It is also believed that he was wearing a grey puffy (padded) zip up coat, light coloured jeans and a grey woolly hat.
John is described as being 5ft 10 inches in height and of average build.
