Court Appearance - Drugs, ammunition and cash seized in Dundalk, Louth on the 10/12/15

Four people, three men and one woman, are due to appear before Dublin District Court in the Criminal Courts of Justice at 4.30pm today 11th December, charged in relation to the seizure of drugs in Dundalk on Thursday 10th December.

A fifth man remains in custody.

 
As part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity and the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dundalk area, Gardaí have seized cocaine, cannabis herb, cash and ammunition following the planned search of a premises in the O'Hanlon Park area, Dundalk on Thursday 10th December 2015.

The drugs seized have an estimated value of €100,000 pending analysis.

As part of an ongoing operation targeting criminal activity and the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dundalk area, Gardaí have seized cocaine, cannabis herb, ammunition and a substantial amount of cash following the planned search of a premises in the O'Hanlon Park area, Dundalk this morning Thursday 10th December 2015.

Four men, aged 19 to 52 years and one woman, 48 years, have been arrested in connection with this seizure. They are currently detained at Dundalk and Drogheda Garda Stations under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
