Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the R407, Clane to Kilcock Road, at Mainham, Clane, Co Kildare this morning, Thursday 20th August 2015 at approximately 2.30am.
The car involved in the collision left the road, entered a ditch and overturned. There were five males in the car at the time, four aged between 18 and 20 years and a juvenile.
Four of the males were taken to Naas General Hospital two with serious, non life threatening injuries and two with minor injuries.
The R407 is currently closed at Mainham to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who travelled the R407 this morning, Thursday 20th August 2015 between 1.45am and 2.45am to contact them at Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
