A man (35 years) arrested at the scene of this incident is expected to appear before a sitting of Naas District Court this morning (24/8/2015) charged in connection with the investigation.

Gardai in Naas are investigating a serious assault which occurred at Sarto Park, Naas last night Saturday 22nd August 2015.
One man (aged 58 years) was removed to Naas General Hospital where he later died.
A man (35 years) was arrested at the scene and is now currenly detained at Naas Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 as amended.
The scene is currently preserved and the Coroner has been notified.
