Gardai in Ballyfermot are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at Cherry Orchard Parade, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 on the 15th August 2015 at approximately 6.20pm.
A male(20 years) received a number of gunshot wounds to his body. He was discovered on a green area close to the rail line at Cherry Orchard. He was taken by ambulance to St James Hospital for treatment and his condition is described as serious.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
