Gardai at Longford Garda station are investigating a serious single vehicle road traffic collision which occurred at Ferefad, Longford on the 9th of August 2015.
The collision occurred at approximately 3.50am on the Ferefad to Ballymacormack road.
The collision occurred at approximately 3.50am on the Ferefad to Ballymacormack road. A car with five occupants collided with a ditch, one of the male passengers(19 years) was seriously injured and taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar for treatment. The driver and there other passengers were uninjured.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
