Gardaí are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Red Lane, Calary, Kilmacanogue yesterday evening, Wednesday 12th August, 2015 at approximately 8.15p.m.
A man, 44 years, was travelling on a horse drawn cart when it appears he fell from the cart. He was removed by ambulance to St. Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin 4 where he later died. There was no other persons on the cart at the time.
The scene has been preserved and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will carry out an investigation of the area. Diversions are in place.
