A woman in her 40’s, arrested in connection with a fatal assault in a house on Phibsboro Road on Saturday 11th April has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Shortly after 10.30pm, Saturday 11th April 2015, Gardaí and Emergency Services were called to a house on Phibsboro Road. A man, 36 years, was taken from the scene by Ambulance to The Mater Hospital with apparent stab wounds. He was later pronounced dead on Sunday 12th April 2015.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, 36 years, following an incident at a house in Phibsboro, Dublin which occurred on the 11th April 2015.

A woman, mid 40’s, has been arrested in connection with this investigation and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Mountjoy Garda Station.
The scene is preserved pending a forensic and technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
