Gardaí in Tralee are investigating a fatal vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the Tralee to Abdorney Road R556 yesterday evening the 18th April 2015.
The collision occurred at approximately 9.55pm at Listellick North(four miles from Tralee) between two cars and a motorcyclist. A male(53 years) motor cyclist was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at scene and his body has been removed to the mortuary in Tralee where a post mortem is expected to take place at a later stage. No one else was injured in the collision.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place.
